A New Scientific Director Joins the PEPR IA

The PEPR IA welcomes a new Scientific Director, Massih-Reza Amini.
The PEPR IA welcomes Massih-Reza Amini as its new Scientific Director. A professor at Université Grenoble Alpes and a member of the Grenoble Computer Science Laboratory (LIG – CNRS / UGA), he succeeds Jamal Atif and strengthens the program’s scientific leadership team.
Alongside Karteek Alahari and François Terrier, Massih-Reza Amini will contribute to defining research priorities and enhancing the visibility of the PEPR IA within the scientific, industrial, and societal ecosystem.
A recognized specialist in learning with partially labeled data, he spent part of his career at the National Research Council of Canada before joining Université Grenoble Alpes, where he now leads cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence.
This appointment marks a new step for the PEPR IA, as it continues to pursue its ambition of supporting excellent research in the service of innovation and society.
