The Call for Chairs 2026 is now open !
The PEPR IA Chairs program returns in 2026, offering AI researchers the opportunity to establish and lead a 4-year research program and team in France.
This program is open to junior and senior researchers, with the primary criterion being an outstanding research track record in the PEPR IA themes.
Candidates must demonstrate outstanding track records in machine learning (ML), particularly in the thematic areas of the PEPR AI:
- frugality
- embedded AI
- trustworthiness
- distributed AI
- mathematical foundations of AI
Key Dates:
- First Round
- Deadline: December 15, 2026
- Jury Review: January–February 2027
- Results: Early March 2027
- Second Round
- Deadline: April 15, 2027
- Jury Review: May–June 2027
- Results: Late June 2027
