The launch of the “Artificial Intelligence” Program and Priority Research Facilities (PEPR, in french) will take place on Monday March 25th and Tuesday March 26th, 2024 at the Grenoble World Trade Center.

Co-led by the CEA, the CNRS and Inria, the PEPR IA is funded by France 2030, as part of the national strategy for artificial intelligence. With a budget of 73 million euros over six years, it will support the French acceleration in the field of AI, by removing the scientific barriers in the domains of Embedded AI, Frugal AI, Distributed AI and Trustworthy AI, and by proposing innovative Mathematical approaches to the foundations of AI.

These launch days will mobilize the direct actors of the PEPR and, more broadly, the whole French scientific community involved in AI research and innovation in France.

On Monday, March 25, the institutional event will be attended by Sylvie Retailleau, French Minister for Higher Education and Research, and will be followed by scientific presentations on the theme of “Embedded AI”, starting at 2:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, March 26, the day will be devoted to PEPR projects, with two main focuses: “Trustworthy AI” and “Foundations and new trends in AI”.
